What a year it has been!!
This year Chris and I celebrated our 16th Wedding Anniversary!! Since I didnt send out our annual letter I thought I would tell about our family on our blog. What a year it has been! Every year just keeps getting better and better. We have been so blessed. Chris is still enjoying his job, In April he became the Head Firearms Instructor and he really enjoys that. He will be doing that until April of 2012. Of course he still enjoys hunting and helping and coaching the boys in their hunting and sports. In November he got a Whitetail Dear. And of course starting January 1 he will be out again with an Archery Tag trying to get another deer. Good thing our boys love the meat!! And I dont mind cooking it. We usually grill alot of Elk and Deer and make alot of jerky. Oh and he if he looks smaller in this picture well he is, he lost about 35 lbs. in the last 5 months. I try to keep up with him but I only lost about a third of that.
As for me I am still enjoying being a mom of three great boys who sometimes keep me so busy that I dont know if Im coming or going. I have enjoyed my job at the school more this year,
the students that I work with are just so sweet, one of the little boys is in our ward and he is just as cute as can be, and he always wants to sit with us at church. I also love being at the school seeing my boys everyday. Other than that of course its driving kids to sports or whatever they need to do. Some highlights of the year for me were watching my boys in Baseball and especially watching them play football!! And Cyr getting his first Elk, as a mom its so neat to see Cyr and his Dad go hunting and have such a good time. I am still doing cub scouts and still liking that, hey its the best calling in the church, you don't have to prepare lessons or talk in front of anyone! I also canned a bunch of different Jams this year which I have never done before, but when the fruit was free I had to do something. It was so fun making jam and having extra in the pantry.

Cyr~ What a year for Cyr! He graduated 8th grade and started High School. I think his highlight of the year was playing football, Im sure he would agree. He loves football and he is pretty good at it too. I had coaches tell me what a dedicated young man Cyr is and that they wished more of their players were like Cyr, nothing stops him when it comes to football. He really is so determined to do his best. He still likes riding quads just not as much because of being so busy in sports. Of course, I think he is beginning to have an addiction to hunting just like his Dad, because now he is hunting alot too and got his First Elk this year in October. He has liked High school this year, his grades are better than they have been in a while and he has started planning for College, he wants to play football in College. When Dad is away Cyr has become a great help and he is really growing up. I have had many teachers and adults in the community tell me what a nice Young man Cyr is.
Colton~ Well Colton has also enjoyed playing Baseball and his favorite football. This year was his first year in tackle football and he does really well. He had some really good coaches. He went to Benson last year during the 2nd semester and was on the Honor Roll and really liked his teacher. We put him back in 3rd grade this year because he was young and didnt turn 9 until September. He didnt seem to mind going to 3rd grade again. We enjoy Colton, he is sweet and lets his mom gives him hugs and kisses. His teacher calls on Colton alot to help, he is a leader and likes to helpout in school whenever he gets a chance. He also likes to go hunting with Dad, he especially likes going when they do some Coyote calling that he really likes. I think Colton's highlight of the year is probaly playing football, when the season was over he wanted to keep playing. Colton is also a friend to everyone.
Cameron~ He too loved playing sports, no matter what sport, Cameron loves. He is also a very, very fast runner. He played baseball and football this year and I am pretty sure football was his favorite, he too didnt want to quit when the season was over. Oh boy did he play good, one of the coaches told us that one of the refs at a game had never seen a boy with so much natural talent in a running back at such a young age. He got many many Touchdowns and many flags. Cameron too loves hunting with Dad, every chance he gets he loves to go out hunting, or whatever Dad is doing. Cameron has a great teacher that he really likes, Mrs. Judd, all our boys have had her in 2nd grade. She really is one of the very best teachers. He loves school and Mrs. Judd has told me what a hard worker Cameron is and he always keeps on going and always strives to do his best.
