So just as Football ends another activity starts. All Winter the boys hunt, usually start out hunting Deer, some years Elk, sadly no one got an Elk Tag this year. So Deer it was, Colton and Cameron had Mule Deer hunt with rifle in November. So all the boys went to camp East of Douglas, the first morning of the hunt Cameron got his deer, a nice 4 x 4. Saturday Miranda and I drove down to the camp, spent the night with all the boys. Saturday drove around looking for deer didn't see much. Saturday evening Chris made some good apple cobbler in the Dutch Oven. Sunday the boys were back at it again, not driving(Because Dad doesn't drive much)  but walking. About 11:30 Colton got his first Deer, a nice 3 x 4. the hike was about a mile not an easy hike,  Cyr, Cameron, Miranda and I went to meet Chris and Colton where Colton shot the deer, after they skinned and gutted it everyone had a part in packing out the meat and antlers.
